Munaf Triawan invited housewives to learn programming

Head of the Creative Economy (BEKraf), Triawan Munaf planning to invite the mother-housewife to learn coding or programming. It was he expressed during a dialogue with the startup at the Ideafest.

He reasoned that the future needs of the programmer will be increased, while the number of programmers today still little. Therefore, he would like to invite a housewife who basically have free time to learn programming.

"Currently it if the learner to learn coding it, time is limited. While the mother-housewife had more time so that it can learn programming," he said in Jakarta, Saturday (8/8).

The idea that he was instigated by the name of 'coding mom' it will provide short courses for example three weeks to the mother-housewife. Once they are proficient, he said, the mother-housewife could be a 'supplier' for the startup in the country, such as Gojek, Tokopedia, and so forth.

The concept was, admitted recently discussed also with the startup and approved them. This plan will be earned materialize this year.
