4 A simple way to reduce the strain on the eyes

Exposure to computer screens and mobile phones make most people experiencing health problems such as blurred vision, itchy eyes and headaches as a result of eye strain. Here is a simple way to help you reduce eye strain.

Step 1

Rub both hands for about 10 to 15 seconds - until they are slightly warm. Close your eyes and then stick both hands to the eyes. Allow a moment to relax tired eyes.

Step 2

After performing the first step, try to wink every three or four seconds to help reduce eye strain. We tend to blink less while watching television or working at the computer, so that blinks every few seconds can help the eye to rest.

Step 3

Select an object which is located about 6 to 10 meters away from you, and focus on it for a few seconds without moving your head. This can relax the ciliary muscles that tend to stress.

Step 4

Lastly, try to twiddling your eyes. Do this about four times, then close your eyes, focus on your breathing and relax.

Here are four simple ways to reduce eye strain. If your eyes are too tired, be sure to take a break from activities that expose the ability of the eye.
