Patented Google Search Google Search Up to On Device |
Google wants all of which are connected to the Internet can be found through a search engine. Having previously released a feature that allows Google to search for images in the PDF file, the tech giant is now reportedly has patented a system that allows them to search for content on the PC and your mobile device. The goal? Of course, to enrich the search system in Google Search.
According to Slash Gear reports, Google's latest patent search allows Google to register a variety of content and applications in PCs and mobile devices. This includes data and social applications, navigation, to the content available on the media player and applications that are installed on your device. Not only there, Google Search will also search for data in the contacts application and bookmarks in your browser.
Of course, Google's latest patent raises kotroversi as too far in the search for the data and would interfere with the privacy of a person. Imagine if these data are widespread on the Internet and can be accessed by others. Surely it would not be good for you. Fortunately, this feature is still in the form of patents and has not been implemented, so there is still the possibility Google will cancel the use of this feature.
