Dot, advanced smartwatch complete with Braille
Often, people with visual impairments rely on smartphone speaker to find a message that appears. However, the method is vulnerable to be known by others as a voice loud smartphone. Now, users need not worry, there are startup Korea who develop new innovations, especially for users with visual impairments.
As reported by Mashable, Dot is a new smartwatch with holes of magnets and pins that form a message in the form of braille. Smartwatch it easier for users with visual impairments to read the text message that appears in smartwatch. Thus, the user only needs to move the fingers and read Braille that appears in the smartwatch.
In addition to text messages from a smartphone, Dot can also be used as a direction, and an alarm to the user. Users are also facilitated with vibration if the user receives a new notification.
To launch and price of Dot, the developers claim that this smartwatch will be launched in December 2015.
Smartwatch will sync with iOS and Android devices via Bluetooth.
