Sri Lanka So Country First Recipient of Fast and Cheap Internet Access Google
Sri Lanka has now officially become the first country on the whole territory covered by the Google internet balloon project named Project Loon. The existence of Loon Project in Sri Lanka is also going to provide high speed internet access which can be obtained inexpensively.
As the name suggests, this Loon Project is using a hot air balloon that is used to spread Internet access to all parts of Sri Lanka. The balloons were also flying in the sky and proper functioning internet infrastructure. The advantage, Loon Project is able to reach areas that are difficult to reach by cable internet.
Google's Project Loon is almost similar to Internet.org raised by Facebook. And the project was introduced by Google in the past two years. In a test carried out, using a balloon reportedly internet speed can reach 10Mbps.
