John Chen is optimistic the company will continue to advance Blackberry

Name Blackberry is no longer a 'boom' like other smartphone manufacturers are producing Android. But, if you think if the Blackberry will stop making new smartphone, it seems it is not entirely true.

More recently, Blackberry re-issued Passport smartphone with stainless steel. Yes, Blackberry considers hardware is an important part of the desire to offer advanced and complete devices, such as Blackberry CEO FOXBusiness interview.

"Hardware continues to be a valuable part of the Blackberry platform. That means, there is a tremendous opportunity for Blackberry grab a larger market share of the company's revenue and customer mobility that we provide," John Chen, CEO of Blackberry.

Blackberry CEO said that the company will focus on doing the best, which is provide a secure device, protecting consumer privacy, and managing the company well. Blackberry seems still optimistic to compete by selling devices that help people to be more productive.

"We have shifted some internal resources to focus on security and software. And we will continue to be an option for individuals who want to get the most out of their smartphones to keep user information, protect, maximize productivity, communication, and collaboration," added John Chen.

When mentioned about the acquisition by a number of companies, such as Lenovo, Samsung, even Microsoft, Blackberry CEO said that the Blackberry is still financially secure and will achieve its objectives. However, the Blackberry is not close their eyes to look for acquisitions and partnerships to help advance Blackberry.
