NTT Communications Corporation (NTT Com), the Japanese company, July 29, yesterday officially acquired PT. Cyber ​​CSF based in Jakarta. Cyber ​​CSF which was founded in 2012, is the largest data center services provider in Indonesia.
Since 2001, NTT Com provides data center services in Indonesia. Cyber ​​acquisition decisions on the CSF to ensure the fulfillment of data center capacity to meet market demand.
Indonesia computer technology market demand is expected to reach up to 10 percent growth in 2017. The growth exceeded the growth in most countries in Southeast Asia. Utilization of third-party data centers in Indonesia are also expected to develop after 2016, which is supported by the latest laws and regulations and guidelines issued by Bank Indonesia.
According to a survey recently released by IDC, most banks in Indonesia estimated that the growth rate of data volume reaches 10 to 20 percent annually. It also indicates that the average bank in Indonesia is planning to increase the allocation of funds to the data center by 5-10 percent annually.
