Criticism of Windows 10, Mozilla sent a letter to Microsoft boss
Although many people who praise, there was also a unhappy with Microsoft's latest OS, namely Windows 10. That is Mozilla, which expressed displeasure with the option of Microsoft to make the Edge as the default browser.
Criticism was delivered by Mozilla CEO Chris Beard in an open letter to Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella. Beard accused Microsoft curb the freedom of users to make the Edge as the default browser.
Although it remains the default browser selection can be changed by the user, but Beard still considers that Microsoft's move was still an imposition
"The upgrade process is seen deliberately designed to eliminate the option for customers who want Internet experience desired, and replace it with the Internet experience chosen by Microsoft," Beard wrote in his letter.
When upgrading to Windows 10, browsers other than Edge is not going to be removed from the system. But when the user chooses to use Chrome or Firefox as the default browser, they must pass through several stages are fairly complicated.
Mozilla even to feel the need to create a tutorial to help Firefox users who want to use the browser as the default.
This open letter is the second step of Mozilla, which had previously been contacted Microsoft to discuss these issues, when they first look at Windows 10. But the move did not produce anything useful.
